Hotel Palace semi-silk scarf, by the Spanish painter Paula Varona, made entirely in Spain. The Palace Hotel is one of the most recognized hotels in Madrid, located next to the Congress of Deputies. The hotel was built by the hotel entrepreneur of Belgian origin George Marquet at the personal suggestion of Alfonso XIII. The date of its construction was the largest hotel in Europe. Among its novelties in the hostel of the time includes the incorporation of the phone and interfaces in each room. The ground floor of the building was famous in Madrid for offering diverse services, stories such as the dance halls called “del Palace”, the jazz rooms of the Rector’s Club and the “La Brasserie” brewery.
