Canvas Gran Way. Gran Way Avenue. The construction of the Gran Vía was a project that lasted several decades, from 1910 to 1931. It was the beginning of the modernization of the city of Madrid. It is one of the main arteries of the city and one of the most emblematic.

It begins in Alcalá Street and it ends in the Plaza España. It is famous for its cinemas, although in recent years some of them have closed, others have been reconverted with great success to musical theater, so the stretch between Plaza Callao and Plaza España is known as the Madrid Broadway.
